That I did. Thanks for the quick save. :)

This is totally unexpected :O Are you sure you input the correct coupon, the one for the bundle, not the 30% discount?

I know I am at the very end of the month, but got a coupon expired and it is still December :D

Morten Trydal

That's not really an error as such. You can surely send me the options you chose via message or email ( the.printing.goes.ever.on@gmail.com ), but I probably won't be locking the impossible options. The system does not allow that for now :D

Hey ThePGEON (pigeon???) - if we find errors in the customizer where one item goes through another part of the model in a bad way (e.g. the back of a leg goes through a cloak, or a polearm goes through several things) - what's the best way to let you know and demonstrate the issue?

Alex A

Hey there and welcome! You joined this month, thus you have access to this month's files. It's only fair you will be able to use those in the customizer as you like. Each month might be a stretch at this stage (of my sanity :D ) but a modular release is planned about every 3-4 months. Plus a chance to just add some bits to the customizer if I work hard enough!

Wait so each month the customizer may get more files but we also get access to the old or is this only for this month? I have just joined and am slightly confused but very intrigued.

Welcome back! Glad you decided to return :)

I'm in... Again! Can't wait for the Customizer feature set and model range to grow!

Alex A

I'm glad you like the mix! I was very anxious about this temporary change! I'll tell you in secret, that there are not gonna be more than 6 green foot-troops :D And probably not modular for the time being either.

Good idea - will do that as well. Thanks!

So, a double bladed sword? Interesting :D I'll see what I can do, and for now you could just play around in meshmixer ;)

Have to say I am uncontainably excited about this Patreon. The mix between the story and modular sets is ideal. I have a feeling that we will soon venture into the deeps of a mountain. I am not sure how others feel, but personally I am not keen on a mass of goblins (too many STLs out there already). Goblin heroes and monsters they align with are great, but not too many of the foot-troops please ;)

You are as per usual totally on point. I was thinking of something that resembles that, just with a blade on both ends of the shaft. Would help add some extra diversity for my murky forest army ;)

Will do! I'm looking forward to building an elf army.

Wow! That's very kind of you to say! Feel free to share screenshots of your designs or possibly painted minis when you get the chance :)

Thank you! Hmm, there is one, right after the spears (glaive definition is a shaft of 2-2.5 meters with a one-sided blade on top). But you may be thinking of a different kind of glaive. The third Guard pose (Guard C) has a two handed sword option available (sword C), that would be fairly similar to that style, though still not as "scythe" looking.

This is by far the most value I have gotten from any Patreon I'm subscribed to. This will give me a ton of minis to print and paint over the next few months!

I have been playing around with the tool and it really is incredible. One thing that would be awesome, is if you could add a glaive...:)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you're not experiencing any problems with the app! Don't hesitate to send in screens of some of your configurations ;)

Ok, Yea.... this came out pretty phenomenal. Super impressive work. Everything operates great and is really surprisingly smooth for a new product like this. Really great job, guys.

Right here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/chapter-5-elves-44736693 Thanks for pointing that out, I'll add the link to this public post! And thank you so much!!!

Ok, maybe I'm blind, but where is the download code for this release for your site? Also, the customizer is AMAZING!

Wow! Thank you so much! I'm super happy you joined our journey :D I do appreciate the "sensible" compliment a lot :D Don't hesitate to message me if you need anything, I'll try my best to help :)

I Finally gave in ! Followed you for 3 months because of the sculpting and the complete logic and sense of your creations (even from the first modular ranger) - didn’t quite need any of the early figures (but this is a complete game changer (forgive the pun ;-) It’s so sensible, such value and completely answers my shelved question of what to do as a wood elves contingent ... look forward to now travelling with you

Thank you! And I can't wait to see what you end up with :D

These are amazing! I can't wait to print and paint out a little war band! Great Job!

Alex Anderson

fantastic! Can't wait for more of the long journey!!!!!!!

Thank you so much! I used to be a reenactor, so I do know my way around more than one shield type and have fought in more than one shield wall :D The constraint here was that the poses needed to be universal enough to work in more than one way (even the mainly two-handed sword pose of the elven guard can work with 2 daggers for example). A proper shield wall pose would generally not work for other items (or would need a separate body with an interchanging forearm), so there is the lunge pose to work for the front line with shields. Clipping on the other hand is a limitation of the system unfortunately. It would take much more time to fine tune each model for each config (or lock those unusable) so that's what I'll have to deal with for now :D And yes - solid model but also parts to print (that was my pet peeve with modular packs - that search for correct items and mirroring, ugh). Augmenting the customizer with future modular packs is absolutely the plan for the future! But for now, we're back on track with the story releases :D

They look fantastic! only critique is a slight adjustment to post B for the guards. If bracing a shield wall, usually your front arm would be bent with your full forarm bracing the shield. Additionally if you swap the pose to have him striking out with a spear, the shield models clip with the face. Both of these can be solved by us the end user with some putty or printing pieces separately. But in all honesty the entire program you wrote up just to be able to do all that to download solid models instead of parts is just astounding and will make any and all future army releases even better!
