I've been a big fan of VR for a while now, and the idea of creating animations that I can then render in 3D really appeals to me.
BUT the render time demand of this sort of thing is extreme. This 1 second video took about 24 hours to render and the quality is just passable for VR.
I'll see what people think of this on Twitter. If there's enough demand, VR can become something I do for Patrons when my computer isn't rendering the usual projects.
I'd like to hear your feedback. Good VR is pretty cheap nowadays, but I realize the majority of humans do not have a headset.
Is VR important to you? Would you like to see more of this?
And remember this is just a test. Obviously clipping issues and hand movements will be improved for a final project.
