A while back, a patron brought up the topic of Chinese web movies in our Discord server, and I've been in the rabbit hole ever since. I usually enjoy watching movies for work, but never to this degree. The fact that I can just sit there and enjoy the garbage fire without having to take notes is a pleasant experience, too. Maybe that's why these movies are so popular: You just don't need to pay attention to it.
