Advantages he mentions:
1. Less of a challenge to fabricate - Not as much glass drilling and sanding.
2. More rigid and robust reservoir - I found the aluminum foil in the original somewhat hard to form into the right shape, with a bulge for the DMT reservoir, but then recessed back up insidethe hole in the bottom of the bottle to allow the bottle to rest flat on a surface. Also, the rubber holding the foil in place started to slip off during my previous trip. Luckily I was able to shift it back into place, but it almost spoiled things.
3. Easier Loading - The cap is very light, so you can put it right on the scale, tare it and scoop the DMT directly into the cap.
4. Quick Release & Replace Reservoir – Easy to have a second cap with an additional dose of DMT to swap in in order to extend or deepen your trip.
5. Reusable Reservoir - No need to reform the aluminum foil every time.
6. Reduced Air Flow – I've found with a smaller hole to inhale through I can more easily get all the vapor in the bottle into my lungs without coughing.

2019-02-02 21:33:24 +0000 UTCThe cap is also threaded below those perforations, I doubt it would have any substantial leakage. Another idea that works is to use a mason jar, the lid insert is removable, and separate from the retaining ring. Just remove the insert and replace with a small square of heavy duty foil, use the retaining ring to hold it in place. Then you just need to drill two small holes for air in and vapor out.
