How Voting Works
I will create a roster of characters (seen above) on a monthly ballot to choose from for my primary artwork each month. Each pledge tier gets a different number of votes, and you guys pick what I end up drawing!
Votes
- The roster keeps it's vote-count from month-to-month, meaning the votes will accumulate on each character over the months.
- $1 Patrons get one (1) vote to spend, $5 Patrons get two (2) votes, and $10 Patrons get three (3) votes.
- Multiple votes can be used on one character, or split up between more than one.
- Votes only count if your pledge has been processed for the month. If your pledge is declined, your votes will be placed "on hold" and will be added later if the pledge goes through. If your pledge does not go through, the votes aren't counted. All votes are checked for eligible vote count and pledge accuracy.
- If you use less votes than what your pledge is worth, I will apply the unassigned votes myself. Example: $10 patron casts only one vote, I will automatically assign all 3 votes in the same way. If they use 2 out of 3 votes on Character A and Character B, then I will pick myself whether the third vote will be assigned to A or B. This is in cases where votes by the Patron go unassigned. Please make sure to vote completely if you are part of the $5 or $10 tier.
Add/Remove Character Rules
When a character wins, it will go on a cooldown and I'll decide when to put them back up.
Roster Spots
Patrons in the $5 or $10 tier can spend one (1) of their votes to suggest new characters in the comments section. I can turn down a character suggestion, but please do not take it personally! I will turn down a character when I really cannot see myself enjoying the subject or for some other reason I reserve the right to.
Strikes
- If a character receives less than 3 people voting on them each month, they will get a strike. Three strikes removes them from the roster.
- These characters can be re-nominated through the above method of using votes to suggest them, and if accepted will be placed at the end of the current wait-list of other suggested characters.
