   With the convention mere hours away, Viv thought it would be best to try out the spell scroll that claimed to have the ability to copy any fictional character. The scroll didn’t come from the most legitimate sources, but she couldn’t afford to argue on such short notice. Standing in front of the mirror with scroll in hand, she cleared her throat and began to chant out loud.

   Everything seemed alright at first, the scroll prompting her to list out the various details of the character she wanted to become. However, things started to go awry as the ritual included words such as hefty and chubby. Too far into stop, Viv muttered the last words and let the magic take over.

   Sparkling lights enveloped her body, each twinkle changing a different part of her. Watching her hair turn orange and her top be replaced with a sweater momentarily put her mind at ease. Her calm lasted up until the sweater stretched itself to accommodate a massive bosom while leaving plenty of open space for her belly to grow with over 600 pounds of fat. Between the tan jacket straining to wrap around her torso and a pair of jeans practically being painted onto her chunky rear, the last touch of her transformation came as her orange hair tied itself up into a neat ponytail.

   As the lights dismissed themselves, Viv waddled her way over to her dressing room mirror. Barely able to see her full self in the reflection, she couldn’t deny that she partially resembled Sonia from Pokémon. However, her massive proportion brought up images she had seen online drawn by various fetish artists. Letting out a sigh, she decided to make do with what she had and began the arduous task of finding a ride share large enough to transport her to the convention.
