2019-12-27 17:04:17 +0000 UTCThough I suspect that Mike is somewhat okay with being beat up - in part because he wants to protect his friends, but also I think he doesn’t want to be on everyone’s bad side forever, and right now he is super crushing on Ethan, who does not reciprocate, and also failing at making friends, with Danny pointing out it is hard to believe that anyone tolerated him. Right now I for some reason think him going after Blaine is 100% to protect the people he cares about, and that he would likely do it even if no one ever knew. But I also think he would like people to know.

2019-12-27 12:41:08 +0000 UTCMy assumption has been that Mike doesn’t have a clue who Ross is - I mean, Mike is at least passing aquantinces with Becky at this point, but I am unsure of how much of her story he is aware of- and even if he knows it if he would know Ross’s name or what he looks like. His plan was just about Blaine, antagonising him and drawing him away from others. I can’t decide if I am relieved that Ross followed in the car, as that means that at least temporarily he isn’t targeting Becky, Dina, and Joyce. But also, as much as I don’t like Mike, I don’t particularly relish him being beat up by Ross and Blaine.
