**JESUS CHRIST, DOROTHY**
If Walky doesn't just bluntly state that maybe, just maybe, Dorothy is crushing on Joyce pretty damn hard, I'll be very disappointed.
I'm still in the "eh, they're just platonic friends" camp but my tent is edging closer and closer to the cliff as I suspect I'm just in denial.

Sorry Dorothy, you set yourself up for that one.

So, I think Dorothy is Iris, Walky is Eddie, and Joyce is Barry. Let me know if anyone gets that reference.

Man, remember when Walky had this pet theory that "Joyce secretly wants to fuck you, Dor" and we were all like "C'mon, Walky, you just don't know what a really close friendship between girls is like, why you gotta sexualize this"? It wasn't just me, right?
I'm honestly still not a huge Jorothy fan, but at least my primary objections--that Dorothy was too massively depressed to benefit from any relationship and Joyce seemed too worshipful of her to accept her struggling reality--have been largely addressed. As I said last time I posted, Dorothy seems like she's close enough to okay that a relationship (or just sex) *could* help, and if that's true for Walky then it's true for Joyce. Joyce, for her part, has a much clearer picture of Dorothy's issues--if still not a total one--and has so far supported Dorothy amazingly well. Not sure what if anything could get me rooting for the Jorothy outcome--or even why I'm so meh about it when I've both rooted for and written other friends-to-lovers arcs--but by now, I have to concede it's a viable one.
In any event, Walky is absolutely right not to be thrilled by Joyce's "offer": there are a few ways that a threesome-type situation between him, her, and Dorothy could go, and none of them end well for him. (Most likely is him and Joyce fighting too much for the encounter to go anywhere, worst is that Dorothy hooks up with Joyce and makes him feel inferior as a partner, dark horse is that Joyce and Walky *do* hook up--he's physically attractive and she's more into dudes overall, it could happen--which would put Dorothy's subconscious in the HOW DARE HE STEAL HER FROM ME zone that Joe has sometimes provoked.)

Lol this reminds me of when my best friend mentioned she'd be down with a threesome with me and my boyfriend, freshman year of college, and I really went at trying to make it happen. Fast forward 10 years and I'm happily living my queer poly life <3
I wonder if Dorothy will have a similar awakening

I hope that day comes soon. I’m tired of all these distractions keeping them from talking it out.

Lucy should be pissed, and I won’t blame her for it. Walky was terrible to her, and now he’s rewarding Dorothy’s selfish behavior (ie when she encouraged Walky to cheat on Lucy with her).

I can't help but to imagine what Lucy will think about this, vis-a-vis Linda and "acceptable" girlfriends.

Andrea I beg you do not speak the daemon currently roosting in the main site comments, wherein people are doing 5D chess to locate a villain somehow, into this fair Elysium

...One day, Joyce and Dorothy are going to reflect on certain things and have a conversation. That will be quite the comic strip, no doubt.

I'm trying to hold some grace for Dorothy in this moment, because later she will remember being this blindingly oblivious to what she wanted for the rest of her life.
