I don’t care what anyone else has to say. Usopp started this whole thing. I understand luffy did not come off the best way but he had all the info he needed to realize what to do. Usopp felt at that moment he was going to be abandoned by the crew just like Merry in the future. That’s all true but he’s also the one who pushed the situation as far as it went. Later on sneaking around and trying to pretend like nothing happened and that they should be grateful to him for trying to come back to the crew. Even if he does end up apologizing, still don’t like him. My least favorite straw hat is usopp.

People are different, so they have different opinions, different IQ, most in YT already seen the most recent episode and can't use their brains to think subjectively to the spot where you are going in OP. So they will just slam shit on you instantly without any real meaning behind those comments...

2020-12-25 19:09:14 +0000 UTCI get what you’re saying but it’s less that and more the attack on Titan thing where reactors kept watching the show thinking there was little to it apart from humans vs titans, and so ignored or misunderstood details, leading to weird conclusions. I’d say his opinion was fine but even in his recent reactions, there’s a reason people IN UNIVERSE of one piece dont think it’s Ussops fault either. It’s a pirates world it is what it is. I think anyone saying it’s 100% X’s fault is ridiculous considering it’s written to show that Luffy isn’t a great captain yet and ussop has had his own issues since even before joining the crew, the guy has a Dad in shanks’ and there’s a reason Ussop didn’t join the crew himself from the get go, he was going to sail by himself at the start BECAUSE he knew he was weak. I mean for Christ sake the guy almost kicked Ussop out cuz of a disagreement, to the point Sanji kicks tf outta him and all Zoro does is watch. Like the nuance is right there

Just as something, should sanji also get this hate for kicking luffy despite luffy himself accepting that he did something un-captain like in almost telling Ussop to leave. Also a reason why through this someone like Zoro didn’t comment. Disliking ussop for this action is fine I think it was more in your own reaction it seemed as if you ignored some parts. Thing is, I don’t like how half of you are saying it’s fine to hate ussop and other half are saying it’s 100% luffy fault as if the point of this is that it was a hard and nuanced decision between the two of them. These two are best friends, fights with best friends happen, people say things they don’t mean, eg luffy saying ussop should leave and ussop saying luffy is the type to leave a wounded comrade. The kill thing is definitely a huge mistranslation I’m even confused how that appeared when the manga, which has this same dialogue was translated years before it was put to anime, so whoever subbed it was just wildin’. Ussop waking up after losing all the money and being told “get a new ship” in luffys 24/7 usual happy go lucky attitude did not help anything either, idk why luffy thought that was the best decision then again this is early on. My only thing is YBRL, is that you rly shouldn’t think Luffy is perfect or this situation was all in his favoure, if he was an experienced enough captain this wouldn’t have happened in the first place. These two are pre 18 years old, the arguments not too deep to create a second video about but Yh... as I said people who commented shouldn’t be tossed aside cuz they might be retroactively jujdging your reaction, because myself and others remember the first time we saw this and it was quite easy to conceive why Ussop acted the way he did. It’s like a recent AoT reactor having to make a 1 hour video because throughout season 2/3 he refused to even try and understand there was more to bertolt and Reiner than complete evil. The reactor literally watched the show with tunnel vision- black and white thinking, even as people like bertolt cried for forgiveness he’d say “ahaha look at this bitch lying cuz he’s scared”, when viewers got at him for being so removed from empathy he rewatched these scenes and had his whole viewpoint changed. It’s not always people wanting specific reactions, but even you being confused as to why sanji kicked luffy the first time was confusing to a lot of viewers because in that whole argument that part probably made the most sense.

This episode was a great example because the straw hats felt the tension with each other and the community also felt it. Just shows how dope it is.

HE MADE LUFFY FIGHT HIS NAKAMA! HE told Chopper they were no longer friends. Chopper the bluenosed monster with no friends. All because Usopp was feeling insecure. He was being a little bitch and did some shit to his friends he should have never did.

They watch tens and hundreds of reactors and somehow expect all of them to react the same and agree on the same things they reacted to. Just do you bro. Your reactions are fine and don't let them dictate how you should react or it'll ruin OP for you and make you want to watch it alone.
