Master1rule: They say it’s not like other isekais. Off rip they tell u the problems but say it so causally u don’t notice. Here are things they said that I’m sure people don’t put into “danger zone”: 1- the goddess sucks. 2- the reason he was even brought here is cause there’s trouble in the goddess’s “paradise”. 3- everyone tomoe has convinced to join him is being maltreated in this shit goddess’s world. 4- he is being suppressed but doesn’t understand fully his power vs the world. Aka y he realized he’s naive. Unlike rimuru he actually understands he doesn’t know. 5- he was brought into an already big problem that the goddess was tryin to fix. He’s just realizing her “fix” isn’t the right one cuz he got cast out too. War! Ya gon love this series from here.

I understand why they want to end on this fight, but will they start Season 2 with this encounter. They have also skipped Rembrandt's back story. I hope they still cover it.

The director actually made the right decision financially to cut the important world building scenes and end on a final boss fight.

So the "war" was kinda hinted there. They are skipping a lot of details tho even the early episodes they skipped stuff so pacing is tough

2021-09-19 21:26:36 +0000 UTCLMAO EXACLTY LIKE AROUND 20 CHAPTERS (2 ARCS) GOT SKIPPED! But from the directors perspective I think I see what their trying to do. This anime unfortunately only has 12 episodes, going normally it would've ened in the middle of a arc and have a luke warm season ending. 1 Arc was a continuation after tomoe recovering and another arc switches perspectives entirely. So it's actually not too bad of a skip. Seems like they decided to jump to this fight might end S1 teasing one of those skipped arcs and then S2 (assuming it gets one) will start out as a flashback (kinda like aot) because one of those skipped arcs is bascially where this show goes from worldbuilding to have a plot.
