You know what's sad? Because Okabe never stopped Amane, the whole thing didn't happen. She never became friends with makise, she never met her dad and she never found any closure to her regrets.

2021-10-15 13:00:23 +0000 UTCI think it's better to do a short break (3-6 months) before starting Steins;Gate Zero to let things settle a bit. Once you hit the very end of Steins;Gate, if you immediately go to Zero, the ending will possibly lose some impact.

2021-10-15 08:14:20 +0000 UTCSteins;Gate is a self contained story. if you immediately jump into Zero, It’s like watching all three lord of the rings back to back then immediately jumping into the hobbit trilogy. Rather than dealing with a whole lotta PTSD that I am sure you guys are feeling, with some extra time off, it’s a lot easier to get hyped about another round of Hououin Kyouma mad scientist chaos!! Remember that every patreon here pushing for an immediate Zero follow up has had years to recover between the two series. How unfair is that? lol That said, it might just be easier for your channel to just plow right into Zero.

Suzuha was supposed to meet her father at a time travel meetup, but Daru wasn't there cos of the party Okabe and crew were trying to set up for her. Suzuha left and time traveled to 1975. Okabe then sent himself a d-mail to follow her instead of setting up the party, and stop her from leaving. But now in this episode, Okabe overwrote the effects of that other d-mail by sending himself another one telling himself to NOT stop Suzuha from leaving that night.

2021-10-15 00:31:20 +0000 UTCi don’t think it’s necessary to watch it back to back. IMO, Steins Gate Zero is better after one or two years. Heal the mental trauma with some comedy and action shows, then do a quick refresher before diving into the side story sequel.
