I feel thiers also the idea of reward and pushment conditioning in the sence that, i noticed that he was conditioned to assicate "complete task beter then finral" and then is rewarded with affection and flattery. so its as basic as he would see things as better then finral or he would be punished not that they did but psychologically he would think that.

In my opinion, the main culprit is the father, because he is the leader of the family and not only did he allow Finral to be treated that way. I know he was disappointed by Finral because in his opinion he did not live up to family expectations but it was his son it was his job to take care of him, to train him to become strong, he is not good at something ok then train him at something that is good . Langris' mother treated Finral badly but you can at least understand her perspective, she is the second wife and she wants her son to become the head of the family, that doesn't excuse her behavior but at least you can understand her perspective. Of course, probably from the father's perspective, if your children are weak you could lose the position you have between noble and royal families, but from my point of view this only shows that he should have struggled more to train him. In the end, at least to make him stronger, it doesn't matter the style, at least the family doesn't lose its reputation, if you don't love your child, at least to make him stronger if all you are interested in is the family and the reputation of your family.

I watched both Black Clover and Overlord anime and I liked both. But if I could choose which of the reactions to appear Black Clover or Overlord DUB. I would leave Overlord DUB for one episode a week and double the number of episodes for Black Clover. I want to mention that I adore both anime but at the moment this would be my choice.

the line that stood out to me was when Langris said, "Don't you dare try to act like my older brother now!" I feel like he wants approval from his parents and feels abandoned by his brother so he has to lean into the parents toxic love to get what he wants. If that makes sense

Maybe it is ridiculous. I just liked it as a character development point for Finral putting in so much effort that his magic starts to affect his body rather than Finral dyes his hair to show resolve. Just my personal preference besides neither reason really changes anything about the story so it doesn't matter in the long run.

it was talked about more when we first met finral that he comes from a renown nobel family that is known for its powerful offensive spatial mages. And since finral has no attack spells, his father considers him a disappointment. This epi you get to understand his backstory from his step-mom and half-brother' perspective. also why langris hates finral so much. legit this is one of my fav backstories in black clover, and one of my fav moments. I also think its interesting that the royal house Kira and the noble house Vaude set up this marriage without consent of either people... They be doin that stuff in the olden days tho i guess.

I'll never understand why they changed the reason for Finral's green hair. I liked the idea in the manga that it changed from training his magic so much while making that new spell that his hair started turning green like his magic.

i love both overlord and black clover, i know a lot of ppl that enjoy black clover has also watched and liked it as well! This was seriously one of the best episodes of the series, hits a lot of really good points and its very fulfilling, that pull up at the end is so damn good
