Remember the Clover part, because he is a prince and his father was the king- and with that knowledge you can figure out that the current king (last name Clover) is a descendant to the first wizard king's father and that is why his magic is also Light Magic.

2022-01-19 05:21:16 +0000 UTCIt's good to assumed the Royals that killed the humans were less "controlled" than Patry was, because the Devil even said when he first appeared "The humans were easily manipulated/swayed" . meaning it was just a guidance and then the royals did the rest, ex: like a random royal (devil possessed) said "Humans are the superior race and we have a magic item that can steal magic and give it to us, lets take what is rightfully ours from the elves".

Some were controlled by that demon but the rest simply agreed with what the demon said they didn't even need to be convinced.

2022-01-18 05:10:44 +0000 UTCAnd like If you look during the whole show you see how like 90% of the nobles of this kingdom are shit even the king, that's one of the reasons the eye of the midnight sun could do what it did and the majority of their members were commoners most criminals and bad but there where some who just got fucked some way or another by the nobles like valtos and rades, heck rades was a strong and good magic knight and he was banished from the hole kingdom just because his magic was "disturbing" and since he was just a commoner nobody tried to help.
