Illustration Poll for May
Added 2021-04-29 17:01:01 +0000 UTCOK, so the upgrade happened, and all seems well right now. To say it didn't go smoothly would be generous, as I had a multitude of issues for several days, but I did manage to fix all the problems one by one and I now have a moderately faster PC with a much better behaved Wacom Cintiq. I'm still going to need to distribute my backed-up files back to a suitable home on my new storage drive and install all the programs I occasionally use for this and that, but I am back to illustrating and it's a wonderful feeling to be drawing butts again.
For this month's Poll, I'm gonna play it safe and stick with a standard Illustration, as I'm a little mentally exhausted from the PC stuff. Still, we can revisit some popular characters.

Poppy is specifically just any potential Poppy, mind you. Probably the normal one from Demacia.

Christ, one thing after another. Glad to hear it's all sorted now anyway. I should maybe consider trying Guild Wars 2 again actually since I'm struggling to find a game to pick and settle down to play. That and it's been a good 5 years or so since I last played seriously.

2021-04-30 10:12:12 +0000 UTCIf anything I'm a little surprised it went so poorly, though that said, neither of the bigger problems were ultimately my fault. To be specific, the BIOS version I chose to install was extremely unstable, meaning I needed a newer one, and for whatever reason the official Windows 10 USB stick I've had for years now just wouldn't boot from the BIOS, meaning I couldn't install Windows until I bought a new USB stick and created a newer Windows 10 Install. Anyway, fortunately I'm back to creating art, and Guild Wars 2 runs fantastically now.
