Also this is a warm-up for the tentacle jamboree that I'll be animating next week. Yokko's much further along with her mass of noodles.

I'm always pleased by what you do. I was just curious about that. I can see exactly what you mean, though. Having done a lot of work in Photoshop or Gimp myself, I know how layering can be a PITA at times. Keep up the great work!

2021-08-21 19:19:17 +0000 UTCIf you're asking if there should be a version with her naked and the tentacles still on her, then yeah, it was ultimately an issue with me wanting to have the tentacles interacting with her clothing. It made it so that I couldn't just turn off the clothing layer and leave the tentacles on, because some of the clothing is duplicated on the tentacle layer. I might try and work around it with layer masks, because it would be nice to have, but I was busy for most of today unfortunately.

I see a tentacle and clothing layer and a clothing layer, and a no clothing and no tentacle base, but a "no clothing" but with everything else layer seems to have been omitted. Knowing how much you like drawing tentacles, I thought there would be more than one image with them. Was that an oversight, or did the layering and water effects (very well done, that) not avail itself of that option?
