And the result is...
Added 2019-09-29 08:45:34 +0000 UTCActually, after doing the hardware changes as announced yesterday, I was able to later prepare and render the first frame for the SALESMAN illustrated story/comic I'm creating in collaboration with nobody else than the famous Northern Chill himself! It took how long? 20 years? As until now it was him who was writing stories and captions inspired by my works. So now, the tables have turned!
The only drawback is, that the rendering speed is greatly reduced which affects the final renders quite a lot. The good thing is that it enables me to create without the need for investing into new workstation which is something I can't afford at the moment and it is also unclear when I will be.

I now remember you being fairly certain of that before, but the dust issue occurred to me suddenly for some reason and I thought I'd toss it out there just in case.

2019-09-30 21:13:56 +0000 UTCI would say it is the main board. Because it is the bottom card that crashes the system. If I swap the cards, the bottom one keeps crashing. If I swap power cables feeding them, it is still the bottom one that keeps crashing. Lately it was crashing even if it was doing pretty much nothing. There is no SLI cable installed, PhysX is set to be on the primary card only, there are no displays connected to it and yet, it was still causing the crashes (at least that is what Windows was claiming - that the card has been removed from the PCI-E slot).

2019-09-30 00:14:58 +0000 UTCI have an air compressor and I'm taking all my computers apart about three times a year to blow all the dust out so not that.
