So... The May is pretty much over and so is the chapter 2 of The Salesman comic I'm creating in collaboration with the one and only Northern Chill! *cue applause*
I already have a rough version of the script for Chapter 3, however, it got me spooked as it requires images I'm at the moment still not sure I will be able to make. So... Starting next Friday a new comic will land and with it also a little break from doll transformations. So, stay tuned!
In parallel, I'm also working on a image sequence that has been inspired by a text bubble of dialogue I wrote for the comic that will debut on Friday and the sequence features one, in the community, very well known OC Ms. Denise Miller that belongs to nobody else than the fantastic Curia-DD most of you know from DeviantArt already and those of you who don't *cue surprised gasp and booing* Well... those of you who don't should definitely consider to check her out (her page of course! What else were you thinking? Sheesh...)
The above mentioned sequence is still a work in progress and you were already able to see teaser images in my DeviantArt gallery and here as well. Right now it consists of 24 still images and one very short micro-animation clip (this time with SFX) that augments one of the still images (because why render one or two still images to show a minor change in the scene when I can render 60 and make a 2 second video clip... Totally makes sense, right?). Oh... and the title image for this post is one of the frames taken from the mentioned clip. Anyway... There are still more images to add to the sequence and perhaps even one more animation clip (decision still pending on that one).
The sequence itself also won't be a traditional comic (well, none of my comic works so far have been like that I guess). What I mean is, that there won't be any text bubbles with dialogue. Instead I thought about adding captions that would shift the sequence from comic-ish area probably closer to the category of an illustrated story?
The only problem with that is that as everyone knows - I'm not a writer. So... Yeah... We have to wait and see how this works out...
However, if all goes well and I actually finish the set (including the captions) then the sequence may find its way to Patreon.
