How About Now? Part 1

Lara laid on the couch, zoning out. Darren should be back from the store any minute now. He had gone to get groceries for the third time this week. We should really just get more food at a time, Lara thought. Eventually she heard the doorbell. Excited, she hefted herself up and waddled over to the doorway. She opened up the door, and immediately gave Darren a little sass, "You know it was unlocked, right?" Darren lifted the box he was carrying a little higher to emphasize it before responding, "Of course I knew, but I had my hands a little full. Barely got the doorbell with my elbow." Lara made a jokingly mad face, "You made me get up and waste all these calories walking over here." As Darren walked inside he retorted, "Oh, don't you worry your pretty little head, missus. I've got enough calories for you here to make up for it."
