Billing Change
Added 2020-08-01 07:13:59 +0000 UTCJust to let everyone know moving forward we will be switching to "charge up front" for new Patrons. As far as we are aware from Patreons description the switch should not change for all of you existing Patrons. However it might effect you should you leave and then choose to re join in the future.
Basically how it is right now is if someone joins they will be charged on the first of the NEXT month for the previous month. With the charge up front Patrons will be charged as soon as they join for the current month and then billed on the first of every month after that.
It is important that we do this because an overwhelming amount of people have joined, watched some content and then left without paying one or two days later. Not only is this is extremely unfair to those of you who are actually paying for the content you are receiving, it has also caused us to be locked out of our payout function because patreon flagged it as suspicious activity and had to review our page (apparently this happens quite often). I'm sure many people did this by accident with no idea about how all this works so we don't blame anyone we just want to make sure our account is safe and we don't experience any more problems that would put it under review.
