Added 2019-11-21 19:00:02 +0000 UTCThe support on this patreon has been pretty overwhelming. we easily shattered that goal, and now my patreon has more monthly income than both youtube and patreon combined prior to this,... that one backfired a little bit for that other company...
BUT i dont want people to donate to this page in a wrong believe.
so i have to clear a few things up, because some people might have gotten the wrong idea:
- as long as my youtube is still running, the 800$ goal does not matter as much. this money is just the threshhold in case my youtube really gets deleted. so with the current influx of patrons, we are more than just fine as far as finances go.
secondly, it seems people got from the video that im close to homelessness. i dont want people to think they have to donate to prevent that. im no idiot and as mentioned in the video, i had long accepted that my youtube could get killed at any moment. ive safed up a little bit and im going to be fine for a few months regardless. this donation goal simply exists so i can keep modding instead of starting to work in a game company until i feel im mostly done learning game design. i do this, because you learn quicker doing mods.
if either is a deal breaker to you, i dont want you to feel scammed and i wouldn't be mad at anyone, if they unsubscribed from the patreon.
