What Should We Do For ʜᴜɴᴛᴇʀ x ʜᴜɴᴛᴇʀ 1999?
Added 2022-10-20 00:48:02 +0000 UTCWe are toying with how we should approach viewing the older version of ʜᴜɴᴛᴇʀ x ʜᴜɴᴛᴇʀ
We could either watch short clips along the ride of watching 2011. This would be maybe one or two scenes per arc. But continue with mostly just watching the newer version.
OR, we could hold off on watching any more 1999 stuff until we're finished 2011, then go back and do a full rewatch of the 1999 material in livestreams, or in big batches. And since we're already so far ahead of even what you guys have seen (up to ep 44 at the time of writing this), we would likely start posting these before the end of the main series has been released here on patreon.
We should also include the fact that, while Carson has seen all of 2011, he has NOT seen 1999 other than a handful of scenes.
Which would you rather?

2022-10-20 01:25:47 +0000 UTCawesome ! psst , if i were to suggest a clip if you’re taking suggestions , there is a 1999 scene during the hunter exam that did not make it to the 2011 version . this is episode 7. it’s where tonpa tricks the main 4 and leorio and kurapika end up falling into a hallucination state . it’s called the hallucinogenic sap tree and we get to see more of leorio and kurapika’s backstory through these memories/hallucinations that are shown . it’s really cool or also if there’s any like funny clips and moments from 1999 compilation video i think that would be super fun to react to :D
