The log pose stores the magnetic field of the island they're on and the next closest island. It technically stores two. The Log Pose points in two directions. One side of the pointer is red, and that side points to the next island If you go in a different direction it'll eventually probably just point to a different island. Or you get lost and never find land again 🥴
