2024-09-27 20:50:54 +0000 UTCI think Thriller Bark one of the best arcs in One Piece. Its honestly up there with Enies Lobby, in fact I would say the anime version has better pacing then Enies Lobby. It has one of the best comedy scenes, epic scenes and fights.

2024-09-27 09:53:16 +0000 UTCI'd interpret it as the people commenting are more hyped for the future arcs, and probably in an attempt to keep you motivated to go through what they believe is a weaker arc, as well as share their own experience of when they were watching it I disagree with it myself, seeing as you're going through even filler arcs you have every intention of experiencing all this show has to offer which is all most of us could ask for. I've been having a great time rewatching this with you so far, and it seems you're enjoying it as well and theres 1000% stuff in this arc that is important for later lol.

For the sake of clarification, that's not what they truly mean. I can't elaborate further than that, but rest assured this arc is actually fairly well liked and contains plenty of plot relevance as per usual. Hopefully you both continue to enjoy Thriller Bark.
