2024-10-04 09:52:10 +0000 UTCI believe one of the animators that worked on Merry's funeral episode was involved here, which is why everyone looks a lot better than usual. His name is Eisaku Inoue. This arc is also when animator Yoshikazu Tomita begins working more regularly on the anime. The scene of Perona lifting up her head is one of his cuts, he has a very cool and identifiable style.
