2022-07-24 17:18:37 +0000 UTCexactly!!!! there's some iconic episodes and moments in those early seasons and then....i get to a point i can no longer watch it because i no longer really recognize the characters i fell in love with. they either changed too drastically or became charicatures. that's why i love superstore as much as i do because for me 95% of every episode hits the mark. with the office, as much as i love it, it just rewatches a point where i no longer feel that love.

2022-07-24 09:05:58 +0000 UTCThe problem with The Office is that it peaked in season 3, then declined in season 4 and seriously went downhill is season 5 but still kept going for years. It's one of those shows that should have ended MUCH earlier than it did.

2022-07-24 02:37:14 +0000 UTCi agree!! it takes a bit to get its swing but once it does its kind of iconic. there's other sitcoms i do think are "better" but the office is a staple and one that many sitcoms that came after would take inspiration from. i definitely think it's one everyone must see at least once, just for the cultural icon-ness of it all lol
