2022-11-21 00:05:02 +0000 UTCReal fact. Kripke wanted 5 years, but they were never guaranteed. Studio heads changed and new one didn’t like SPN plus wanted to bring in her own projects. ThenThe WB became CW. J2 has said at conventions they kept moving nights and times actually trying to kill the show. I’m not 100% sure when,but it took past what was to be the final season-5 before the renewals became automatic. The boys give credit to the fandom for that- putting on a huge pressure campaign to keep it going. Inside info: Did u notice how Jensen was holding his arm funny when he stood up with the gun? His story- some of the tombstone he hit wasn’t properly padded and he injured his elbow. He says his arm was totally numb thru rest of that scene and still gives him trouble at times. I’m always impressed that you have such an instinct for figuring things out…ie you knew Ava was a demon. I never saw that coming 1st viewing. You often do that. Ready for season 3!!!

Carry on My Wayward Son became kind of like the theme song to the show, because the fans fell in love with it when it was used as the finale recap song, but originally they wanted “fight the good fight” to be the theme (the song used in the episode before the finale). Now whenever I think Supernatural I always think Carry on My Wayward Son, and whenever I hear Carry on My Wayward Son I think of Supernatural 😂😭♥️.
