I just don’t like how it ended at the “wedding” day, like if he knew she didn’t want to get married, y push it. But aside from that, they were both like able characters.

Yeah she loved him but she didn’t want to get married and that’s okay. I was sad they both let it get that far. I felt bad for burke every time Cristina brushed him off almost every episode lol. Just trying to show another side to the coin, I loved both characters, no hate here.😊

2023-04-13 23:49:31 +0000 UTCright!!! she tried so, so hard and anyone could see that. she was putting himself above herself. she knows her faults. she knows she can be a bit selfish and her drive and focus can crossover into toxic territories. but here she was pulling her walls down and opening her heart in such a way that was so intimate and probably painful for her to do. and this is how he repays that?? nah burke can burn for that. my heart shatters for christina every time i think of this storyline.

2023-04-13 22:09:35 +0000 UTCalso christina sobbing in her wedding gown and merdith just holding her...that entire scenes lives in my head rent free all these years later. god that scene is incredible. that "i'm free" broke me. she never wanted marriage but she was willing and allowed herself to be willing because she loved preston so damn much. and then for him to do this to her.....she's free. she's free of the imposition she felt, she's free of being chained into marriage, but she's also free from him....from his love for her that he must have felt once. there's this clash of emotions - relief, joy, heartbreak, distress, pain....and that scene is done BEAUTIFULLY
