Dragoncon Adventures Day Two!

Okay! So, first, a recap of last night, because after I posted, we went to karaoke! There were... a lot of us, tbh. It was kind of a blur, and I... didn’t really like it too much? The car ride over was a lot of fun though! We got to talk, and I do love talking. 

Anyway! Left a biiit early, and went to bed.

Woke up this morning, day two, wrote a quick chapter of SCS before getting out of bed, then we went for breakfast. I had Starbucks. Pumpkin Spice...something or other. It was alright? 

Then we got in line for the Vendor Hall. Void Herald was supposed to join us, but he cheated by being famous and just getting in. smh. Need to sell more books.

Got visited by a mysterious Fuze. (My mom was envious of his hair after he left. She doesn’t read whatever I post on my Patreon, so I can say it here!) 

We might do a Hope//Punk live game tomorrow... if we can figure out a place for it... uh, I don’t know how to do that. 

Anyway! Eventually the line moved. We arrived at 0930 and it was supposed to open at 1000. We got in by 1030-ish. Started from the tippy-top with the Artist alley, then worked our way down.

Met Maxime at the Aethon booth, where I have to shout out some dude called Danny. I bought a Void Herald book and one from Melas since... they were both there to sign, so why not? And Danny basically threw a heap of merch at me and since they couldn’t make change for a $20 I got a discount, lol. I don’t know if he was supposed to do that, but I appreciate it! 

After the Aethon booth, we walked around. My feet as I write this 9+ hours later still hurt. They need chairs in there. 

Anyway, I bought some maps and some trinkets, bought some books and got them signed, but nothing tooooo special... except for the hat.

Fuck yeah, wizard hat! 

After that, we ate at a nice Mexican place, and split off. Birbmom and I went to the Podium party. It was nice! Noisy at first, but eventually not too loud. I met... honestly, a lot of people. Haylock, Kate from Podium (weird meeting someone I’ve talked to for 5+ years in person), Heath, Brian J. (You should tell him to write more Wildcards, he likes that) and a bunch of others. I’d love to name and shout them all, but my brain barely kept track. 

After that, back to the Westin. I got to meet Wolfy! ShanePurde (is that how it’s spelled?) who was a real cool guy to chat with. UraniumPheonix showed up too, and we nerded out for a bit. 

Oh! And Matt from the Discord showed up too! Kinda lowkey envious of his pauldron, ngl!

We’re all gonna go watch knights beat the shit out of each other with swords tomorrow! 

A few of us (Madix, Meg, Miles, and birbmom) went out to eat! I think I prefer smaller venues. You can hear people talking and it’s so much easier to share ideas.

Anyway, that restaurant was close to our hotel, which is where I am now, waiting for my feet to stop hurting. 

I... will sleep very well tonight, lol!
