Dragoncon Adventures Day Five!

Last day!

Honestly, not the most exciting of days, though it really wasn’t bad!

Woke up suuuuper sick at about 1AM, and... yeah, that wasn’t great. I think I got a bug or something. I spent the morning in bed, but I was feeling better by 6-7AM. Had breakfast, went back upstairs because I was sick some more, and then... yeah, decided to leave the hotel.

Honestly, proooobably not the smartest move?

We did get into the vendor hall after a 45min wait, and then wandered around. I ran into Matt, bought a mat (not the guy, a desk mat, with ravens!) and then bought a bunch of books pretty much every time I ran into an author friend who could sign something!

I’m... mostly bringing back books. Books are heavy... oh boy.

Anyway! Made it back to the hotel, finished a chapter of Save that I’d started a while ago, then took a nap that didn’t feel long enough.

Then it was off for a bite (some chicken place?) and back to the Westin where the others were hanging out.

Best part of the day, that! Chatting with a bunch of author friends at the Westin, sitting around and just... chilling. It let my feet heal a little too, which was more than a little necessary.

OH, after we went to the Skyview, which is like, way up a tall building. Fantastic view, mediocre food, awful prices. But the company made up for anything that was lacking <3

And... that’s it! I’m back at the hotel, in bed, looking forward to sleeping for... a few hours before I need to rush to the airport. Ahhh... I wanna be home already.

I’ll come back with a billion ideas, I think! I really can’t wait to get back to the grind. I have so many more reasons to write more!
