2022-03-27 23:38:47 +0000 UTCI love this episode for what it is, an entertaining story about a fictional character, The Doctor and Robin's back-and-forths were funny and entertaining

2022-03-27 23:36:29 +0000 UTCI think the Doctor is so jealous of Robin because of how obviously enamored Clara is with him. I think how she idolizes and interacts with Robin reminds him of how he and Clara used to be before he regenerated; their relationship dynamic changed so much and, despite what he said in Deep Breath ("Clara, I'm not your boyfriend...I never said it was your mistake"), I think that he still longs for that kind of easy relationship with her. Also, Robin Hood is probably one of the most clear cut heroes that we have and the Doctor spent all last episode consumed with the question of whether he's a good man or not, so again, seeing Clara get so excited over meeting him made the Doctor act with more hostility than warranted.
