So Olivia is right about the Spirit Vine thing. Kuvira mentioned at the end of episode 3 to Varrick that developing the vines are his number one priority.
And come on guys! An older villain who is a father to one of the main cast can be introduced without them having to die to impact the character. It's happened before..... right?
I loved Korra in this episode. She mentioned to Su that fighting is something the old her would do, which only made things worse. She's grown so much since the season 1 Korra who destroyed the Airbender training machine out of rage in episode 2 lol 😅
Kuvira I think is Korra in her worst state. We've seen some of that when she first started her journey in season 1. Very angry, hot-headed, yeah basically the darkest parts of Korra, plus a splash of a dictator. I dont think Korra would've become that, but the qualities are there and you can see it.
Greg, Korra doesn't get beat up ALL the time 🙄 just this season mostly cause that's how we develop a strong physical character like her. Gotta beat her up a shit ton inside and outside 🤣
They did have Mechasuits in season 1, but they were rolling on tracks like a tank, instead of bi pedaling and walking more like a person. There were fight scenes, but yeah it wasn't nearly as impactful as these ones.
I'm happy you're liking Kuvira more and more! Can't wait for the next episode! It's one of my favorites. See you guys then! ❤
