I know I am way too late commenting on this. But for you (if you see this) or anyone else reading this, it is not an anime trope of being crazy and scratching yourself to the point of scarring or worse (in this instance for someone who canβt scar because of healing) it is actually a psychological disorder that is a real life thing that happens but just isnβt really talked about because no one bothers with it unless they dive deep into this field or suffer from it themselves
