Help me pick a movie!

It's time for another random poll again with movies that are wildly different from one another haha

Will be watching this alongside a comfy animated movie next week thankfully. Looking forward to seeing what you pick!

Comments

Finally Memento wins!,, going to be a great watch seeing Natalie figuring out the movie. She's pretty smart so I'm confident she'll follow with only a few questions... most I can say without hinting at spoilers

kenneth

As I think about this more.. Maybe she SHOULD watch American History X. We all know it's going to make her cringe. But if she watches that movie, she should watch the opposite.. The animated Boondocks on HBO. Equal cringe right...

Michael Adair

Memento is a movie that is right down your alley.. What a mind-fuck...

Michael Adair

Why are you even here? Your comments are nothng but negative either towards the content being watch or the other users on here.

Danishprince

Pleasantly surprised Memento is leading! All great choices, but I was expecting picking this one to be in a minority.

Matthew

You know, this is a pretty close poll overall. Not one completely running away with it, and there's only a 12% spread between top and bottom (at the time of this posting.)

Mastervodo

dieselbeast

1,000% agree!

dieselbeast

God i genuinely love all 4 of these movies....is all of the above an option

Rey

Sin City.

Richard Maurer

The Nice Guys

Tiger Chu

I went for American history X in this one. I think it would blow Nat away, was amazing when I watched it out of nowhere way back when.

Ben Curran

Iron Claw is extremely powerful. I'm hopeful it'll win eventually.

Steve

I'm down for any of these! Voting for American History X, though. That's one that needs to be seen by more people.

Logan Kerlee

IRON CLAW HAS BEEN SUGGESTED SEVERAL TIMES. YOU NEED TO WATCH IT

Alvin Everett

Seconding Ford V Ferrari. Great watch, so much fun. I've been a Ferrari fan my whole life, and yet I'm rooting for Ford this entire movie lol. Matt Damon, Christian Bale, and Jon Bernthal all give great performances. Probably my favourite Bale performance.

Giancarlo Ubaldino

I keep waiting for an open recommendation topic, but since you broached it, I'd add "How I got into College." and "Working Girl." One was under the radar, one was a smash hit. But both are funny, inspirational, and have some decent star power.

James B.

Someone needs to react to Argo. Highly under watched movie.

Thomas Wetherell

A couple suggestions of my favorites: 13 Hours (2016), and The Equalizer movies with Denzel Washington

Gilbert Gonzalez

Memento. It deserves its moment to shine.

Robert Bonfante

Don’t do a poll - just watch Reservoir Dogs.

Daniel Green

Get Shorty, Be Cool, Sin City franchise.

Jay Perry

I'm honestly not sure I can watch American History X again. It's an amazingly well done movie, but it was so painful to watch that I'm not sure I can stand the mental damage again.

Sean Obrock

Sicario!

Mathieu

I dunno, I still have no idea what happened in about 2/3 of Tenet...

Steve J

Fair… and I’d honestly agree. I should edit my comment to read “everyone should see at least once”😂

KnightfallNoir

I'm gonna add some random movies for you to consider later down the road. Comedies: Airplane!, Ghostbusters, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Robbin Hood Men In Tights, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Top Secret, My Cousin Vinny, Free Guy. Action/Adventure: Mission Impossible franchise, Bullet Train, Looper, Speed, Cast Away, Air Force One, True Lies. Based on a true story: Catch Me If You Can, The Social Network, Argo, 127 Hours, The Pursuit of Happiness, The Impossible, Ford V Ferrari, Captain Phillips. Sorry if that was a lot. Feel free to let me know if you've already seen some of these.

FogdogKdog

Hello everyone asking for your support again for Nat to watch SICARIO or The Boondocks Saints. Thank you. 🖤

Modders

Whooooo! Another Chris Nolan movie! Whooo!🤘😲🤘

Walter Lopez

Really can't go wrong with this list, picking American History X just because it's been the longest since I've seen that one, but these are all winners.

Erik Stevenson

IRON CLAW

Phillip_ino

Yeah I'm with ya lol Iron Claw is a beautiful powerful film but if its put up against the "mainstream popular movies" it'll never win sadly sigh lol in this case memento lol which I haven't seen fully but I've seen another reactors edited version and eh lol that's just me tho just my humble opinion

dieselbeast

Memento is the most confusing Nolan film for a reason and he has stuck to that whole "time" formula ever since. Masterful director, hope it wins.

LightsCameraJake

The first poll we've had where I don't care who wins. Any of these would be a great watch.

Shooter McGavin

reservoir dogs memento and american history x are all BANGERS HOW DO I CHOOSE

Dale Diaz

Sure, but it's not a movie I have ever wanted to see a second time. When I first saw it, I walked away feeling like I watched a long Twilight Zone episode, only it didn't have a nice wrap up by Rod Serling to set me back on course. I just felt empty.

James B.

Voting for the Iron Claw. It's been requested a lot since it came out. I'm mildly curious, having watched the Von Erich's growing up. I'm aware of their family and family history. It seems like if it doesn't win now, it may never, and I feel for those who have been anxiously mentioning it consistently since it debuted. I hope it wins!

Mastervodo

American History X is a Really good movie. I’d also like to suggest “Lucky Number Slevin” get added to a list at some point. It’s also Really good!

Jonathan Barrick

Memento for sure. Reservoir dogs is great too.

jamie jones

Memento is just… one of those movies… everyone should see. Not even dissing the other choices, but this was an easy poll for me.

KnightfallNoir

Happy Wednesday Nat. Going to go for The Iron Claw this time as it has been much requested. Have a great day Nat 💛

Darryl Low

What We Do In The Shadows

Tiger Chu

If American History X wins I’ll for sure watch along but I will be depressed for a solid week following

My

Please be Memento

Gerard Odigwe

All four are fantastic, you should give them a try

Ian

My vote is for Memento. Great movie!

Troy

Close one so far! But Memento is definitely the pick

Ian

My vote is for iron claw. But memento is definitely a must watch

adrianR31

Iron Claw is the only one of these movies I have seen, so that is the one I voted for.

Brian Leonard

This is a real good poll because all of those are winners. I’d have to say, if forced, Reservoir Dogs should be watched first because it’s the movie that put Tarantino on the map. It also still hold up today a tense, funny, and very bloody masterpiece of cinema.

mojo shivers

The Iron Claw is so good!

Kiskotagan

Picking Momento, Christopher Nolan's breakthrough film

Alan Felicia

In the future can you watch Batman: Under the Red Hood? It's a great animated film.

Rich Valdes

Eventually all should be watched.

SilentBobFather

Everyone on the planet is doing iron claw rn so went for RD

Ian

Absolutely this. It SHOULD make you feel uncomfortable. It had my vote here

Max Yoder

I've voted for Reservoir Dogs SOOO many times now.. 🙂 please let that be the one, this time

Elin Teresa Stensrud Lund

tough choice! when you get to memento be prepared for philosophy of mind and self... reservoir dogs was my vote, from the master of mixed emotions... watch all of them!

Crash Raynor

Since we've already done Schindler's List I'd say let's do American History X as well, best of the options imo

Danishprince

It's coming in 2 days

Mike Hell

Omg everyone votes so fast!

Mecoy Carmine

I might be the only one who thought The Iron Claw was just okay. Good for a one time watch, but I probably won't revisit it when it inevitably wins this poll. I'd prefer AMX because as someone above mentioned, it's more relevant today than ever. Memento would be a great watch, too.

Mike Hell

Oof. First Schindler's List, now this list. Not easy watch along titles.

UngawdlyJish

Iron Claw was a good cry.

Nathan Elkin

The people NEED the Top Gun Maverick reaction!

Giancarlo Gasparin

Please be Iron Claw

Tentomushi

American History X isn't a comfortable watch, but it definitely should be watched. It's more relevant today than when it was released.

Giancarlo Ubaldino
