Help me pick a movie!
Added 2024-05-08 16:00:11 +0000 UTCIt's time for another random poll again with movies that are wildly different from one another haha
Will be watching this alongside a comfy animated movie next week thankfully. Looking forward to seeing what you pick!

Finally Memento wins!,, going to be a great watch seeing Natalie figuring out the movie. She's pretty smart so I'm confident she'll follow with only a few questions... most I can say without hinting at spoilers

2024-05-15 22:49:32 +0000 UTCAs I think about this more.. Maybe she SHOULD watch American History X. We all know it's going to make her cringe. But if she watches that movie, she should watch the opposite.. The animated Boondocks on HBO. Equal cringe right...

2024-05-13 20:01:57 +0000 UTCMemento is a movie that is right down your alley.. What a mind-fuck...

2024-05-13 01:12:00 +0000 UTCWhy are you even here? Your comments are nothng but negative either towards the content being watch or the other users on here.

2024-05-10 21:55:45 +0000 UTCPleasantly surprised Memento is leading! All great choices, but I was expecting picking this one to be in a minority.
Matthew
2024-05-10 15:18:32 +0000 UTCYou know, this is a pretty close poll overall. Not one completely running away with it, and there's only a 12% spread between top and bottom (at the time of this posting.)

2024-05-09 10:55:52 +0000 UTCI went for American history X in this one. I think it would blow Nat away, was amazing when I watched it out of nowhere way back when.

2024-05-09 07:56:44 +0000 UTCIron Claw is extremely powerful. I'm hopeful it'll win eventually.
Steve
2024-05-09 03:58:39 +0000 UTCI'm down for any of these! Voting for American History X, though. That's one that needs to be seen by more people.

2024-05-09 03:21:24 +0000 UTCIRON CLAW HAS BEEN SUGGESTED SEVERAL TIMES. YOU NEED TO WATCH IT
Alvin Everett
2024-05-09 01:19:06 +0000 UTCSeconding Ford V Ferrari. Great watch, so much fun. I've been a Ferrari fan my whole life, and yet I'm rooting for Ford this entire movie lol. Matt Damon, Christian Bale, and Jon Bernthal all give great performances. Probably my favourite Bale performance.
Giancarlo Ubaldino
2024-05-09 00:25:26 +0000 UTCI keep waiting for an open recommendation topic, but since you broached it, I'd add "How I got into College." and "Working Girl." One was under the radar, one was a smash hit. But both are funny, inspirational, and have some decent star power.

2024-05-08 23:17:27 +0000 UTCSomeone needs to react to Argo. Highly under watched movie.

2024-05-08 19:45:35 +0000 UTCI'm honestly not sure I can watch American History X again. It's an amazingly well done movie, but it was so painful to watch that I'm not sure I can stand the mental damage again.

Walter Lopez
2024-05-08 17:07:50 +0000 UTCReally can't go wrong with this list, picking American History X just because it's been the longest since I've seen that one, but these are all winners.

2024-05-08 17:07:45 +0000 UTCIRON CLAW
Phillip_ino
2024-05-08 17:04:57 +0000 UTCYeah I'm with ya lol Iron Claw is a beautiful powerful film but if its put up against the "mainstream popular movies" it'll never win sadly sigh lol in this case memento lol which I haven't seen fully but I've seen another reactors edited version and eh lol that's just me tho just my humble opinion
dieselbeast
2024-05-08 17:04:23 +0000 UTCMemento is the most confusing Nolan film for a reason and he has stuck to that whole "time" formula ever since. Masterful director, hope it wins.
LightsCameraJake
2024-05-08 16:56:19 +0000 UTCThe first poll we've had where I don't care who wins. Any of these would be a great watch.

Dale Diaz
2024-05-08 16:44:47 +0000 UTCSure, but it's not a movie I have ever wanted to see a second time. When I first saw it, I walked away feeling like I watched a long Twilight Zone episode, only it didn't have a nice wrap up by Rod Serling to set me back on course. I just felt empty.
James B.
2024-05-08 16:41:00 +0000 UTCVoting for the Iron Claw. It's been requested a lot since it came out. I'm mildly curious, having watched the Von Erich's growing up. I'm aware of their family and family history. It seems like if it doesn't win now, it may never, and I feel for those who have been anxiously mentioning it consistently since it debuted. I hope it wins!

2024-05-08 16:38:21 +0000 UTCAmerican History X is a Really good movie. I’d also like to suggest “Lucky Number Slevin” get added to a list at some point. It’s also Really good!

2024-05-08 16:37:38 +0000 UTCMemento for sure. Reservoir dogs is great too.

2024-05-08 16:37:28 +0000 UTCMemento is just… one of those movies… everyone should see. Not even dissing the other choices, but this was an easy poll for me.

2024-05-08 16:14:19 +0000 UTCIron Claw is the only one of these movies I have seen, so that is the one I voted for.
Brian Leonard
2024-05-08 16:12:58 +0000 UTCThis is a real good poll because all of those are winners. I’d have to say, if forced, Reservoir Dogs should be watched first because it’s the movie that put Tarantino on the map. It also still hold up today a tense, funny, and very bloody masterpiece of cinema.

2024-05-08 16:07:01 +0000 UTCI might be the only one who thought The Iron Claw was just okay. Good for a one time watch, but I probably won't revisit it when it inevitably wins this poll. I'd prefer AMX because as someone above mentioned, it's more relevant today than ever. Memento would be a great watch, too.
Mike Hell
2024-05-08 16:06:55 +0000 UTCOof. First Schindler's List, now this list. Not easy watch along titles.
