2024-07-21 00:28:55 +0000 UTCWhen youβre done with this season you should 100% check out The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Itβs about a former house wife who becomes a comedian in 50s New York and itβs so damn hilarious and fun and bingeable. Definitely give it a go haha.

2024-07-19 22:10:03 +0000 UTCDid he sleep with a minor? I heard he was sexting a minor. Still scumbag but i never had enough interest in him to look into it.

2024-07-19 19:48:36 +0000 UTCA more appropriate comparison would be Dr Disrespect, famous YouTuber who was recently found out to have slept with a minor and has fans defending him on Twitter

2024-07-19 16:52:14 +0000 UTCI'm no Trump supporter, but the difference is Firecracker openly admits sleeping with a 15 year old when she was 28, and reports would clearly show she only admitted it because of a Tweet that went live moments before to save face. There's no way it wouldn't go down terribly.

2024-07-19 02:43:11 +0000 UTC"No one ever forgives shit like this." Really interesting that Nat didn't think it would be plausible for the masses to forgive something as terrible as pedophilia. Meanwhile, here in real life, Conservative Christians have supported Trump in droves. The same Trump who's been convicted of sexual assault and accused by several others of rape, including underage girls. It's not an accident that "Firecracker" speaks with a southern draw, is draped in ammo and loves God . The writers know exactly what they're doing. (And no, I have no interest in getting into a political debate.)

2024-07-19 00:15:24 +0000 UTCNot a groundbreaking opinion but, imo a lot of people complain about the politics this season being too βon the noseβ, but I think itβs a pretty natural continuation of the satire of politics from the beginning. The show originally made more fun of Obama-era 2016 style politics, but the Trump era made people a lot more brave about voicing their horrible opinions and advocating for more extreme policies, and I think the show captures that sudden burst of extreme views and how fascism can seemingly creep up out of nowhere pretty well, especially now that Homelander is officially the one in charge Homelander killing that Starlighter at the end of last season and being applauded is literally a direct reference to the Trump Quote βI could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" It feels gross to listen to them talk on the show because it IS gross lmao π Love the reactions, Nat. Watching this before I watch the finale tonight π₯Ή

2024-07-18 18:56:23 +0000 UTCHe's amazing, Hopefully he gets more roles down the line in future projects. I would love to see him play Reverse-Flash, he's perfect for Eobard Thawne. But at the same time I don't want him to be type casted as a villain all the time. If we ever get a Judge Dredd movie/show with Karl Urban I would love to see Antony Starr as a fellow Judge.

2024-07-18 14:40:44 +0000 UTCI love shows such as The Boys and invincible, along with characters like Homelander, Injustice Superman, Omni-man, Ultraman. But I'm glad James Gunn's Superman (2025) is coming next year. It will be a nice breath of fresh air after years with these more extreme, evil versions of characters inspired by Superman, or even versions of Superman himself. Speaking of Superman, Jack Quaid, who plays Hughie in The Boys, is the voice of Superman in My Adventures with Superman (2023). This fantastic series puts a VERY different spin on Superman, his lore, and the characters surrounding him. I'm unsure if I'd recommend the show to someone looking for a more comic-accurate take on these characters, origins, and stories. Superman: Animated Series (1997) would be the best place for the definitive Superman experience. But MAWS (My Adventures With Superman) is a unique take on the world of Superman that still retains the heart and charm of Superman as a character. My Adventures with Superman is colourful, hopeful, flirty, romantic, funny, and wholesome. It is also tragic and emotional, with a lot of depth. It's still the most Superman feeling movie/show content we've had in the past decade even with the changes to the lore, depictions of characters etc. It's a more modernized view of Superman that doesn't try to make the character or world overly dark and moody. I think you'd enjoy MAWS, much more than Man of Steel.

2024-07-18 13:12:27 +0000 UTCHappy Thursday Nat. Been looking forward to seeing what happens next in this show π As Billy would say, "Fuukin' 'ell" π What a crazy episode. Homelander really does keep you on edge every time he's on screen. I'm guessing Hughie's mum was standing behind him for a while and saw what he was about to do, then pickpocketed him when she hugged him. Sneaky. I can't wait to see where we go next. Thanks for a fun reaction today Nat π
