Well, Brad Bird did also write the screenplay and direct The Iron Giant, so you should have known there would be some good emotional moments. I know you had already mentioned in another react video that you have seen and love The Iron Giant, but I wouldn't mind watching you do a revisit video of it as it is one of my all time favorites... and the reason I had to visit the LangjΓΆkull glacier when I visited Iceland.

Like now Im literally in insurance, I didnt realize Bob was a claims adjuster, I was just like "Ok boring desk job" and I never realized Mirage was actually going to recruit Frozone, and Bob was an accident. I thought she was there for him the whole time.

I hope we can watch more soon! :D Edit: IMO, Incredibles is one of the best pixar movies! 2nd was enjoyable but for me, nowhere near as good as this one. I won't say not to watch it, but there's other movies that I think are worthy seeing first :)

It is with great disappointment that I must say that Incredibles 2 is one of if the WORST sequels I have ever seen and one of PIXAR's biggest fumbles. Keeping it simple: the first film is a film about family for everyone, 2 is a kids movie about superheroes. Jack-Jack Attack! is a brilliant gem.

You're really telling me that A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Passion of the Christ, and The Village(seriously?) all deserved nominations for Original Score and The Incredibles didn't? (I'll grant that Finding Neverland and HP3 absolutely deserved their noms.) The way Giacchino plays with 5/4 and 6/4 in the end title makes my soul happy.

2024-07-19 21:34:49 +0000 UTCAs a 40 year old man without kids who generally has a "meh" attitude for animated movies, I saw both Incredibles 1 and 2 as soon as they were in theaters. While I don't think the second one is as good as the first, it's still amazing and definitely worth watching, if I'd rate the first one a 10/10 the second one is a 9.8/10.

The Thing=Strong, Mr. Fantastic=Stretchy, The Invisible Woman=Invisible and Force Fields. The only one left was Johnny Storm with the fire powers, who was swapped out by a speedster. Marvel sold the rights to the Fantastic Four WAY before the current MCU (1986), and every movie that has been made about them has been terrible. Disney got them back in 2019, and there's an upcoming movie with them expected in 2025. Also expected to be terrible, but we will see. I will have to re-watch Nat's Multiverse of Madness reaction to see if she recognized Mr. Fantastic from that.

It's so clever in the way it blends the superhero and spy genres together. The characters and their individual powers are all so cool. And the music gets you going. Michael Giacchino has written so many scores for Disney now, including the classic Marvel logo music that you've conducted so many times π I wasn't a massive fan of the sequel, but I've only watched it once when it came out so it's maybe worth a revisit and a re-appraisal. Thanks for a really fun reaction today Nat. have a brilliant weekend π
