2024-08-22 12:28:25 +0000 UTCYeah nothing turns me off more than someone saying I’m not going to watch that thing that’s going to for sure be relevant cause it didn’t perform well on YouTube

2024-08-17 23:46:07 +0000 UTCWell I definitely got the kids are starving elsewhere comment and the pressure to clean your plate bit I got another bad habit from the army in that I eat my meals as fast as I can because drill Sergents stand there yelling for you to hurry. It's not healthy and now when I eat I try to force myself to eat slow and chew

2024-08-15 07:14:40 +0000 UTCI’ll admit the finale went down better on a second watch! I didn’t feel as sudden, had time to come to terms with the (maybe) sentient V’d tumor inside Billy 😅 I still hate how they keep sidelining Annie all season long, power-wise though. Like at the end of season 3 she literally leveled up and this season she lost her powers almost immediately. And then she didn’t even get them back at the climax of some kinda “hero’s journey” moment (like when she was literally killing the evil version of herself), they just came back on their own on the drive out of town? In the ending montage? Idk Okay that’s that 🫡 but I’m excited by the promise of season 5, chaos, carnage, and a satisfying conclusion with Homelander’s death! 🥹

2024-08-15 01:16:22 +0000 UTCIt’s not that he’s the “villain” it’s that he is now adding to the problem. Him Agreeing to kill Ryan, killing Newman and his overall hatred toward supes has made him less likeable, to me. The writers will attempt a redemption ark next season I just hope it is conveying.

2024-08-14 23:44:33 +0000 UTCButcher's way only really is "correct" or works with Homelander though. I think Hughie's approach would work with Vought, specifically Edgar but as you said it won't work with Homelander running the show as he has been since early s2 or so.

2024-08-14 18:02:01 +0000 UTCI'd really appreciate if you'd cover the next season of GenV. Atleast as a Patreon Exclusive. Much love

2024-08-14 17:30:01 +0000 UTCIt may be a very unpopular opinion, since Butcher murdered Neuman (whom we the audience really like despite all she's done), but Butcher has been right all along. He may not be the hero of story, but he's not the villain the writers seems to be making him out to be. Time and time again we've been shown that Hughie's "let's act human" philosophy simply does not work with Vought and Homelander and the supes in this universe. They need to be dealt with Butcher-style, despite the terrible moral implications of his current/future actions.

2024-08-14 17:29:34 +0000 UTCHappy Wednesday Nat 😊 The outcome of this finale certainly wasn't what I was expecting but it was good, although some of the comedy felt a little off given the situation. The Order 66 moment was pretty brutal and I wonder what's become of Ashley #1 Looking forward to next season to see how this story all wraps up. Thanks for another fun reaction today Nat 💛

2024-08-14 14:34:13 +0000 UTCAnd it has the chameleon Domhnall Gleeson!, (Bill Weasley, General Hux, Ex Machina) Been wanting Nat to react to that movie for a while.

2024-08-14 13:39:12 +0000 UTCIf you're craving for more content similar to The Boys, mature comic book media. I highly recommend the movie Dredd (2012) starring Karl Urban as the character Judge Dredd. The character made his first appearance in the British weekly anthology comic 2000 A.D in 1977 getting his own comic down the line. Dredd and Billy Butcher are two of my favourite Karl Urban roles, the creator of The Boys comic, Garth Ennis loved Karl Urban as Dredd. Ennis himself has also written a few Judge Dredd comics as well so thats a fun connection to The Boys. "They call him Judge, his last name is Dredd So break the law, and you wind up dead Truth and justice are what he's fighting for Judge Dredd the man, he is the law DROKK IT!" - I Am The Law by Anthrax

2024-08-14 13:30:25 +0000 UTCI’m conflicted about how I’m supposed to feel regarding Victoria. Yeah she killed a lot of people, but if nothing else the one thing she feared is happening: her daughter Zoe is now going to Red River Group Home where she also grew up. Marie might be her best hope at getting out of there. Kimiko has just started dating Frenchie, and just as he was taken away by Cate she could finally talk. The saddest part about this scene is that the man she loves didn’t get to hear her voice. Knowing her, she’s not gonna give up so easily. She already lost her brother. She’s not about to lose her team, especially her boyfriend. It’s hard to notice the first time, but Hughie was nodding at Annie motioning her to leave while she still could. We saw how powerful Cindy is. She’s like Eleven but more dangerous because she doesn’t get exhausted. Where Annie went is anyone’s guess, but I’m gonna say she might have gone to find Maeve. If so, I don’t think it’d be fair to have her involved unless she chooses to. If that’s the case, she’ll need another dose of Compound V. My other guess would be that she bumps into A-Train who also defected and they make an uneasy alliance to bring down Vought and Homelander for good. Gen V season 2 will be out next year, and The Boys season 5 (the final season) will be out the following year. In the meantime, Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal are teaming up to produce The Boys: Mexico which will be a spinoff in the same universe but will feature a new team. There’s also a prequel series in the works that will have Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash reprise their roles as Soldier Boy and Stormfront.

2024-08-14 13:20:48 +0000 UTCSo excited to see what the finale has to offer! Overall I've enjoyed the seaosn but it hasn't felt as good as the previous 3.. More disjointed without a clear lack of vision but with some really great highlights so far.
