Original Movie: Twisters

Comments

After seeing this movie i liked "Into The Storm" then the 1996 original. won't watch this movie again.

Dave Walker

I want to rewatch this movie so much with your watch along but the price to even rent it is still too high. I bet you enjoyed

Redrum Ritual

I gotta say, after watching this movie, I can honestly say. I rather dislike it a lot.

Thomas Richter

Wait, didn't you watch Twister first Nat?

Thomas Richter

Can't wait to come back and watch this one when it hits streaming

Snacky Munchies

I can tell you are frazzled Nat,a feature with no chair swivel 😀 I hope your trips are fun and restful

Athenor

There aren't a whole lot of callbacks to the original, BUT... if you watch the original (which you should!!!) you will understand the significance of DOROTHY.

Richard Rolen

FYI they did film a kiss at the end but I think Spielberg decided to cut it because he didn't want the romance to be the main part of the characters' journeys. If you really want to see that kiss, there's footage of it online.

K.N.

Love this movie and it stands side by side with the original. Very Enjoyable and a definite multiple rewatchable

Anthony Curione

You ever get that spider situation sorted Nat, or did it escape into the shadows to gather strength and plot your future demise?

Keith Jacobsen

This movie was an ok watch, not a patch on the original tho that's for sure. I'll watch along with you on this one to see what you thought Nat just cos I'm interested, not cos I want to watch the movie again. Not like when I had already seen Top Gun Maverick for example.

Ben Curran

Nat search and rescue. You speed to help because you may be able to save someone trapped in their house or someone who might be bleeding to death. Side note you can tell nat has spent alot of time in the big cities. Lol storms actually do pop up very fast..

MJ Eid

It was subtle but notice how she was wearing shorts until the accident and her leg scar then she was nothing but pants until the end then she was wearing shorts again, that's her coming thru a lot of things and finally being at peace. I lived in Tornado alley my whole life in Texas and yeah they have warnings and watches but when you hear the sirens going off if your lucky 10-15 mins before one actually hits. Been thru only 3 my whole life including one in my elementary school. My son wants to be a tornado chaser and is looking into college for meteorology.

Jayson Phillips

I think she did see it already, only might not remember much of the original

Guillermo Antonio Ricci Alvarez

you gotta watch original for references

BRandonG

Did she watch this before the original? That's a shame. Especially as a lot of reactors watched that one.

Lemuel Daher

Please watch the Original. It’s so much better.

mrhalfbit

THEEEE movie of the year for me, I fear. IF YOU FEEL IT, CHASE IT

Erik Danielson

Who pissed off Storm!!!

LittleGalaxyBoy

If you don't compare it to the original it's a fun summer popcorn tornado thang. Glen Powell is growing on me. Given the right script and direction he can be incredible.

Happy Feature Friday Nat. I really enjoyed this movie and have been looking forward to your reaction all week 😊 Had a blast watching this one with you Nat. It's just a fun blockbuster that, as you said, knows what it's doing and does it all so well. Glen Powell was in fine form, and the set pieces, music and sound are all top notch. The guy at the motel in the rodeo town, who tried to escape in his car should have known better. He was played by Bill Paxton's son, James. The story of this one pretty much stands on it's own alongside the original. There is one piece of technology that links the two. Thanks for an awesome reaction today Nat, and for all your great work this week. Have a great time at your weddings this weekend 💛
