FINALLY. lol the one point that some people miss is that Kate (Emily) is that she’s technically not the main protagonist. That’s the twist Denis Villeneuve wanted.

2025-05-13 20:03:02 +0000 UTCI know Ciudad Juarez was listed as the single most dangerous city for women in the 2010s. I also know there were repeatedly instances of bodies being hung in public as depicted.

2025-04-12 12:40:06 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you watched this movie, I forgot how great it was. The sound design is my personal favorite and what I'm paying the most attention to in addition to cinematography, which was also a treat. Thank you for bringing it to me once again! I really hope you will also eventually also watch Sicario 2, Sicario 3 has been confirmed although I'm not familiar with what the actual deadline on it is. Thanks again and hope you'll have a great rest of your week!

2025-04-09 01:13:15 +0000 UTCI live in Tijuana, right on the border with San Diego, and I've lived here my whole life. I'm not going to lie, there is violence, but I think there's kind of an unspoken rule: if you don't bother anyone, no one will bother you. Of course, there are also areas where you probably shouldn't be alone. But aside from the bad stuff, it's a beautiful city full of culture. I can't really say much about Juárez because I've never been there, but from what I know, it's also a very culturally rich city, especially since it's one of the busiest border crossings in the world
