Tekken 8 Cosplay: Frieren Beyond Journey's End
Added 2024-07-06 01:29:32 +0000 UTCI have another try at some Anime Babe cosplay in my Tekken 8, and this one's was quite fun since the anime is relatively new and quite popular. The show is called Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and its a fantasy adventure with beautiful art, lots of feels and quirky storylines. It's all about a long-lived Elf mage named Frieren and her travels after she and her adventuring party finishes the proverbial 'Main Quest'. I haven't watched it entirely but what I've seen is pretty awesome, and I do recommend it.
Well that aside, I attempted to bring several of the anime's characters to Tekken 8 via customization. Of course, Xiaoyu gets cast as Frieren herself, with her twin ponytail hair singling her out. The Elf ears were a bit tricky, and I am amazed there weren't any already in the items. But nope, had to make do with the Cat Ears item.
Next was Fern, Frieren's traveling companion/apprentice/bestie. Again, hair was the deciding factor, as Lili's default long coiffed hair is pretty much what Fern's hairstyle is, just had to color it purple. Her robes we did using the (modded) miko outfit and since this is Me, she had to be barefoot like everyone else (otherwise she'd be in boots).
Rounding out the bunch is making Ubel, a dangerous female mage who is somewhat an antagonist who comes in later in the show. Reina is perfect for her in various ways, such as her default hair- all it needed was adding the side ponytail, color it all green and voila- Murder Mage is here.
Anyway, this was quite fun to do, and I think we'll get quite a few KO matches with the Frieren girls and see each one winning and losing as needed. Man, Tekken 8 just looks so good, making these characters is pretty cool as everything's pretty. I think I got a bit carried away with this but at least we ended up with a lot of pics to show for it, so check them out and enjoy.
