I guess an honourary thing, similar to how we generally use "mum" or "dad" instead of their names. I mean... some people just call their parents by their names too..

The show itself often skips them so they barely play to begin with, you'll end up only seeing it once or twice if you wait too long. Also the EDs are the most iconic thing about the show! Make sure to stick around for the after-credits because there are some crucial scenes in them sometimes, like in EP5.

I saw many reactions to that series, and many believe the reason he reset was because he did something "wrong", nobody thought he died, so yes you are fucking spoiling.

The appa guy was referring to Emilia cause he said a kid like you (being broke) not a kid that looks like you. Fight scenes are amazing, I've always liked the scene of Felt running away and everyone being a dick until best boy Reinhard shows up a literally knight (but not in shining armor) Episode 4: We get to meet the a lot of new characters. Really love Beatrice's design. Emilia is so cute doing all the exercises with Subaru. One thing I wanted to point out, Subaru expects Rem to be good at certain things and her sister to be better at the things Rem is bad at, cause it's usually a cliche in anime for twins that one is good at the things the other is bad at; that doesn't make sense in real life so Roswaal calls him strange for saying that. Not really significant, but just a small detail about how Subaru views the world vs how it actually is. Also at this point you can watch the opening with no spoilers, it just features characters who hadn't been shown until this episode.

This means that wether Subaru is with Emilia or not, she will always help the appa guy's daughter. While watching this anime again you realize how good the foreshadowings are, this anime is so awesome
