Specimen-N Part 1 – 2-Page Update

This time, I worked on a manga commission I received through Skeb.

I spent quite a bit of time developing the story and characters, so I was only able to complete two pages of the manga itself.

Also, the recent heat has been draining—it’s been hard to stay focused on work. Honestly, every year it feels less and less like a livable environment for living creatures...

Now then, let me share a bit about the characters featured in this work.

1. Specimen-N

The protagonist of a series I've received several requests for in the past—"Senpai".

However, since this request was for a parallel universe setting, his usual partner (the junior) does not appear this time.

In this version, he's someone who applied for a well-paying part-time job, only to find out the reality was far more extreme than expected.

2. Specimen Maintenance Staff

According to the request, in this world, most people are very tall regardless of gender—so this character is intentionally set to be on the shorter side.

Perhaps due to this (relatively) short stature, he developed a deep inferiority complex, which led to poor academic performance and eventually a position as part of the specimen maintenance staff at a niche museum that few people are willing to work at.

He has no particular fetishes and is a generally "normal" person, so he treats Specimen-N with nothing but cold professionalism.

To avoid being recognized by anyone he knows, he wears a gas mask provided by the museum. (The rubber suit is simply part of the staff uniform, which he wears out of obligation.)

3. The Gloved Pervert

Museum Visitor #1.

A sadistic type who enjoys seeing Specimen-N struggle—he blocks the breathing tube or pinches his nose over the clips just to watch him panic.

In his everyday life, he works as a teacher and keeps this side of himself completely hidden.

4. The Recorder

Museum Visitor #2.

A silent enthusiast who takes photos repeatedly. Prefers still images over videos.

In daily life, he works as a quiet civil servant. His coworkers see him as a bit of an odd one.

5. The Groper

Museum Visitor #3.

He’s only interested in male genit*ls and shows no concern for Specimen-N’s breathing.

He enjoys toying with Specimen-N’s body together with his friends..

An artist by profession, he’s uninhibited in all areas of life.

That’s what I’ve come up with for now—might add more later. (laughs)

Next time, I plan to return to the baseball-themed manga.

It’ll be the final part of the story, though I doubt it’ll wrap up in a single update...

今回はSkebで御依頼を頂きました漫画を描きました。

ストーリーとキャラクターを考えるのに結構手間取ってしまいまして、漫画自体は2ページしか描けませんでした。

あと最近とみに暑いので、それだけで疲れてしまって、なかなか作業が進みづらいのもあります。いやはや毎年のことながら、ほんとに生物の生きられる環境じゃないですよね、、

さて、それでは今回の作品のキャラクター設定について少し語りたいと思います。

1. 標本N

　以前から何度かご依頼を頂いた作品の主人公出ある、「先輩」です。ですが、今回はパラレルワールド扱いとの御依頼なので、ペアである後輩は出てきません。

　今回は、割のいいバイトに応募したところ、実はその内容が過酷なものだった…という役どころです。

2. 標本Nの管理スタッフ

　御依頼では、この世界では男女問わずほとんどが高身長である、ということなので、彼はその中では低めな身長に設定しました。

　（他に比べて）低めの身長のせいか、コンプレックスが強く捻くれてしまったため学業も振るわず、なり手の少ない特殊な美術館の管理スタッフという職に身を置いている。

　特殊な好みなどはなく至ってノーマルな人間なので、標本Nに対しては事務的な対応しかしない。

　知り合いに顔がバレるのを防ぐため、美術館から貸し出されたガスマスクを着けている。（ラバーはスタッフの制服なので仕方なく身に着けている）

3. 手袋をした変態

　美術館の入場者その1。

　S気が強く、標本Nの呼吸用チューブを塞いだり、クリップの上から鼻をつまんだり、とNの困惑する姿を見て楽しむ。

　普段は教師をしており、この嗜好は完全に封印している。

4. 撮影者

　美術館の入場者その2。

　無言で撮影を繰り返すマニア。動画より写真を好む。

　普段は寡黙な公務員として働いて居るが、同僚には影で変わったひとだと思われている。

5. まさぐる客

　美術館の入場者その3。

　男性のアレにしか興味がなく、Nの呼吸には興味を示さない。

　Nのアレをいじくって友人と楽しむ。

　職業はアーティストで、全てにおいて開放的。

今考えているのは、こんな感じです。また追加するかもしれません。笑

次回は再び野球の漫画を描こうと思います。

結末部分に当たりますが、一回では終わらなさそうな気がします、、
