I don’t believe Zach is really ready to hear anything from Ryun especially if he mentions how he would’ve done the same if he hadn’t been crazed from the EH perk. The only thing that could solve this is my opinion is if he realizes he would not have acted differently other than his deal with Dealmaker to close all the portals, which is what really killed the world. Closing portals lead to monster swarms which is what wiped out a lot of populations that couldn’t handle them.

So I understand that cliffhangers suck and you wish the next chapter comes out immediately, but I have learned that patience is better than a rushed chapter. It doesn’t stop me from wishing I had a time machine in order to binge read the complete story though 😅
