2022-10-07 03:50:16 +0000 UTCIshigami showed that innocuous compliments are okay if they stay that way. Once he tried to cover it up and say how Chika smelled, it went from harmless to kinda creepy. The show is hilarious but also true in its depiction of little social situations that seem like life and death battles when you’re in high school. We understand the stakes are high for Kaguya and Miyuki but the show doesn’t try to trick us into believing the stakes are greater than it is looking from the outside. Basically it’s two smart people who are so smart they can’t realize how dumb they’re being in the ways they go about pursuing each other.
