I love you guys get the importance of form in JoJo right away. Araki's intentions with part 1 where to do a bizarre take on the Hero's Journey standard for adventure stories. While Phantom Blood isn't the best part by far, but it's fantastic at selling you on the core elements of JoJo's that later parts will branch from in their own unique way.

Yeah, phantom blood is considered the weakest part by many bc Araki was still trying to figure out how to write for jojo and he gets better part after part. In an interview he even stated that he believes jonathan is "too much of a good boy" and would have done him a bit differently. Part 7 is considered his magnum opus right now XD

To be honest, almost everything people consider to be "spoilery" in the openings doesn't make sense until you actually see what it's supposedly spoiling, and at that point, it's no longer a spoiler because you just saw it. Without context, there's little to go off of. And yes, I'd like them both to do reactions to each opening/ending, at least the first time, instead od skipping them. They're part of the experience.

Have you guys seen the opening or do you skip it? If you haven't, I'd recommend holding off on watching it until around episode 5 since it is a little spoiler-y. JoJo openings are really high quality and reaction-worthy.
