Okay Akane is not criminally asymptomatic. Last episode when Kouzaburou Touma described Criminally asymptomatic people, he described them as being detached from society and not fitting in to societal and psycholigical norms. Basically Criminally Asymptomatic people are sociopaths. Akane isn't a socoipath, instead her strong psychopass comes from core fundamental belief system that she holds to, she is strictly moral instead of amoral like makishima

2017-10-20 18:11:41 +0000 UTCI think the scene with the Chief was kind of over the top as well but I think the writer broke logic in an effort to parallel Ginoza with Akane and her situation in episode 11. Both situations are a trigger for the characters to see if their will or Sibyl's is stronger, but while Akane made an active effort to show her will, Ginoza hesitated only for a brief moment before resolving himself to kill Kougami. Akane's was a much greater moral dilemma in sacrificing a life for another's, so she effectively left the judgement to Sibyl. To Ginoza, however, his career is seemingly absolute, and he actively bends his knee to Sibyl. Luckily for him, Akane was there to save the day, but to me this makes some social commentary on how people's careers can have more weight than even their humanity does nowadays.

2017-10-19 00:06:33 +0000 UTCI agree with you. Of course compared to season 1 it is worse but on its own it an ok season compared to other anime. Personally i feel like it could be better if season 2 had more episodes.
