I think its better to watch alone. Maybe its just me but if i watched it with someone else i wouldnt be able to cry as much and hard as i wanted to.

My head hurts from crying lol. This episode hits like a sack full of bricks and to bring up her part of the discussion about connections and perception/perspective I completely agree. This hurt me the first time I watched it, but this time it wrecked me pretty bad. It has been a rough five years for my family and me and the ache, the sorrow, the joy this episode alone brought out through memories of loved ones (5 yrs ago my brother's cancer resurfaced and he passed away in 2015. Then in 2016 my dad had a heart attack at work) I was overwhelmed this episode with my own memories of who I've lost and I've seen this show already. The little boy when he saw his mom (praying for everyone no doubt to give her son a chance and listen) questioned if he could play honest and genuinely - for her - was so sweet and adorable. Kousei finally breaking down on his teacher's shoulder - a real feels train that had no stops. Beautifully vulnerable discussion guys, thanks for sharing with us. I appreciate honesty and openness with others and it was (the right word, I'm not sure but...) comforting? Assuring? It was something good to see someone who wasn't all the way 'in' react so much as well as Jacob who HAS seen the show still be rendered silent and visibly shook as well. Catch you guys next time!
