I haven't seen the popularity polls recently, but typically the top 4 spots were reserved for the main 4 every time. I believe Hiei would top, with Kurama and Yusuke vying for medal position, and then Kuwabara would just miss medaling (I think he did get 3rd once?) Koto may just not have been as well received in Japan; which kind of makes sense since what makes Koto so endearing in the Dub is her love of carnage, and that is not present in the original. Oh well, the boys and I and many others appreciate her now. :)
