A few different ideas hit me when the tree branches were showed, first off that they cut at a very fast pace and seemingly in time with the dialogue, so i thought of all the ways this talk could have gone wrong and the decision tree you could make to get to them all working together. It was like it focused on a new branch every time a choice was made and something happened, like we're following the one viable timeline. Then there's the coordinate itself, shaped like a giant tree with branches being paths connecting every Eldian. The forest reference i didn't feel personally but seeing as how the talk lead to them literally leaving the forest, i can see that too in hindsight.
