IDK how you feel but, I'm watching through this "reimagining" for the first time with the bros and, as someone who loved the original back in the day, I'm enjoying it... HOWEVER, I do find myself missing the way the original handled certain things like: Wolfwood's backstory (not sure if we'll get that here), Legato and co. (forgot the name of that group of people), and most of all: THE FUCKING SOUNDTRACK. Trigun is known for having one of the most atmospheric, hard-hitting soundtracks from that era of anime. Knives' Theme? Legato's Theme? Suna no Hoshi? The OP?
This version has been a fun "romp" so far but I don't find the emotions to be hitting as hard as the original. Also, are they going to do the thing with Legato and Vash's gun? Because that shit was pivotal.

It's actually Show Hayami who voices the Religious Radio DJ. He voices Aizen in Bleach, Tokiomi in Fate/Zero, Vanilla Ice in Jojo Part 3 and Nicholas D Wolfwood in the original Trigun. Interestingly enough the original voice actor for Vash, Masaya Onosaka voiced the previous radio DJ we heard in the other episodes.
