Trigun Stampede Replacement Poll
Added 2024-07-17 14:51:32 +0000 UTCWe're coming up on the end of Trigun Stampede, so it's time for another poll! As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance, so we all know what's coming next.
Vote for ANY AND ALL shows that you would like to see us react to! We always take note of which shows get plenty of votes, but don't win. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Wednesday when the final Trigun Stampede reaction goes public.
NOTE: Jacob and I haven't seen any of these shows!

You really feel for the lower class main character family, with their 2-3 room apartment where half of their food is scavenged outside the city walls in the wilderness and both parents have full time jobs as well as raising children. Contrast that to the merchant/trade class characters with just as many financial problems of their own, just on a bigger scale. Finally the people in power, with their scheming and resource(of many types) gathering and hoarding.

I've seen shows lose close a couple times then never come back to polls. they can easily watch demon slayer after oshi no ko, or another seasonal one.

We can see the bros be moderately impressed with 6 out of 8 episodes in what would have been a movie if it wouldn't have been the most boring movie possible, and then enjoy the last episode only to realize they now need to wait for the movies, OR we can enjoy watching them discover one of the best made world building isekais (even if it's on a small scale for the beginning)

A seriously needed bright and precious gem amidst the endless amount of garbage isekai shows we get every season (and I like a lot of those garbage isekai shows -I'm part of the problem- lol). Also like, come on.. I feel like Demon Slayer is a 100%, Higgs Boson approved, natural progression of humanity, inevitability. Like what's that old quote again? Oh yeah: "Nothing is certain in life except death, taxes, and the certainty that SoS will eventually watch Demon Slayer." -- Benjamin Franklin. Can we please prove Benjamin Franklin wrong just this once? LET'S GO BOOKWORM! I'm going to actually lose my mind if it loses by like 5 votes AGAIN (cue that weird singing noise from Re:Zero).

It actually feels like work for myne to move up in the world even when she does it feels like there's so much more. It's like a slice of life that can develop into a Fantasy action as time goes on

ANOTHER Isekai? Really? Are we just going to keep hyping up copy and paste stories? Take away the Isekai factor and make it straight up period-piece/fantasy. I’ve got my fill with really great ones like ReZero and Mushoku Tensei. Imagine if Apothecary Diaries was an Isekai? That’d be lame as hell.

I think the bros will have to watch s4 of demon slayer eventually, but man, is it a waste of a slot.
